The Goal

My goal is to provide an uncompromising quality of product and customer service at an affordable price.  As a one man shop, I take pride in the ability to give each job a personal touch and aim for 100% customer satisfaction.

Please take time to read about Cerakote on the website.   I provide a lot of "real world" examples of what to expect that most applicators will not.  Don't be fooled by internet hype, know what to expect out of the product.

Jim,
I received the gun yesterday, and I have to say that I love what you did! I'm really happy with the work and my choice in color scheme. I can't stop looking at it.

I definitely plan to work with you in the future (probably soon for my Rem 870) and I'll be recommending you to anyone looking for your services.

Just want to thank you again for your service. I heavily considered attempting this myself, but I have to say that you've been great and I'm quite glad that I had you do the work instead. You've been patient and professional, the price can't be beat, and the work speaks for itself. Thanks again, and I hope to work with you again shortly.

Hi Jim, I got the sig 228 and glock slide back and am very happy with them. I have some others I will be getting done soon. I attached a few pics of the 228 with the e2 grips on and the glock back together if you wanted to use. I will be recommending you to others. Thanks

Jim, I picked up the rifle & lower tonight. I have to say you did a really nice job. When I opened the box at the gun shop I passed the rifle around; everyone said what a nice job you did. I have many friends that are talking about refinishing their guns. I will recommend you. I will have some work for you in a month or so and will be in touch. It is refreshing to deal with someone with as much integrity as you have!

About the Gun, H*** S***, I cannot tell you how happy I am with the job you did. It is very clear that you are good at what you do. The gun looks brand spanking new, and I believe it is about 25 years old. I have seen a few coat jobs before, and I recognize sloppy work. I appreciate you taking the time to do it correctly.

Jim at Cerakote.info completed my project. (TRG22 in gallery) I decided on Cerakote for this application for corrosion protection. Bottom line: am extremely pleased with how it turned out and will do business again and recommend.
  • prompt, courteous service with relevant updates and two-way comms throughout the project.
  • attention to detail was very high and thorough.
  • cost was reasonable and affordable.
  • Particulars:
  • Bolt group was completed in Micro-Slick
  • Color was H-265 and C-246 Flat Dark Earth in order to match scope and rifle

So my TRS was / is pretty much my daily rig for the better part of the last 10yrs. After that long and 50,000+ rounds it was looking pretty ratty - less than 50% bluing, just, bare metal. OregonShooter at... (Cerakote.info)... took care of it for me. He has some before pics of my TRS on his site too. I am not very good with the flash but this is more matte than the SRP in the other pics. This not the flattest black either. The gun was parkerized first and then sprayed out. The bushing is done in micro slick and is a very dark grey. It looks and feels great and I am sure it will last a long time. I am very happy. The finish is superb and I have yet to find any blemishes in it. Mr. Lynch [Linch] originally quoted me the one color price even though I requested the finish be done in two different colors. Honorably he only invoiced me for what he quoted (plus the shipping insurance I requested)... ...I would not hesitate to send any of my firearms back to cerakoter.com though and he has earned a customer for life through this transaction. ...I tend to cause rust on a variety of finishes or materials that most consider to be quite rust resistant. Last year I finally found a finish that would resist the attack of my sweat – electroless nickel. However, because I got tired of an all-silver firearm, I recently decided to see what else was out there, and found Cerakote... ...Overall, I’m very pleased with the work Jim did. I would like to note that I sent it to him without identifying myself as a “blogger” or telling him that I was going to do a review. This is representative of the work he did for a “regular customer.” I don’t think he could have done better... Read the rest of the review by this author at: www.vuurwapenblog.com

My Glock 19 had lost a bit of its finish due to carry, training, competitions, and holstering. I went with the gun metal grey finish, and am more than satisfied. I'd definitely recommend him if you need a gun refinished.
